Decree 499/2023 (Read the Complete Decree in Arabic)
  • New standards/amendments have been introduced for various products, including toys, air conditioners, electrical heat pumps, dehumidifiers, washing machines, gas appliances, ceramic tiles, and more.
  • Enforcement Date: 4th July 2024
Decree 502/2023 (Read the Complete Decree in Arabic)
  • New standards have been established for luminaries, batteries, furniture, child use/child care articles, and air conditioners.
  • Standards for domestic cooking appliances and energy efficiency for air conditioners have been withdrawn.
  • Enforcement Dates: 4th July 2024 and 4th January 2025
