Uganda PVOC/COC certification
According to the relevant laws and regulations of PVOC, A Conformity Assessment Scheme before Export implemented by UNBS of Uganda Bureau of Standards, all imported goods under the controlled catalogue must be accompanied by a Certificate of Conformity COC(Certificate of Conformity) during customs clearance. The imported products meet the requirements of Uganda's relevant technical regulations and standards.
Uganda PVOC Application Process:
1. The exporter should submit a completely completed Request for Certificate Form (RFC&DOC). The application Form should detail the product information and provide product quality documents such as test report, technical parameters, quality management system Certificate (if any), etc. And submit proforma invoice and packing list;
2. Determine feasible implementation options and applicable standards under the plan;
3. If testing is required, it can be carried out in the laboratory, and sampling will be coordinated and laboratory tests will be carried out;
4. Exporter submits final documents (commercial invoice and packing list) upon completion of inspection;
5. Issue Uganda Clearance Certificate COC.
Uganda PVOC inspection requirements:
1. The product is ready and the package is complete;
2. Product label: manufacturer or exporter importer information or brand, product name, model number, MADE IN CHINA logo;
3. Shipping mark: manufacturer or exporter importer information or brand, product name, model, quantity, batch number, gross net weight, MADE IN CHINA mark;
4. During the inspection, the inspector mainly looks at the product quantity, product label, box mark and other information, and randomly opens several boxes to see the products inside. If the products are ready, the inspection will pass naturally.
